As 2008 comes to a close, I’m sure you and your family are facing some big challenges caused by the deteriorating economy.

The truth is WAY-FM is struggling financially like never before, and yet our audience is growing like never before! For example, South Florida’s WAY-FM is now the most listened to radio station among young adults and ranks as #2 among teenagers out of fifty stations in its coverage area. Plus, many other stations in the WAY-FM family are also experiencing record growth.

Our audience growth in the midst of these financial struggles tells me that God has a plan, and that plan includes the positive, hope-filled message of WAY-FM! People need us now, perhaps more than they ever have, wouldn’t you agree? That’s the driving force behind our “WAY-2-Give” campaign, which you’re probably hearing about now on WAY-FM and maybe via letters we’ve recently sent you.

I never dreamed that some of our stations would be #1 in their markets when we started out more than two decades ago! But listeners like you have spread the word about WAY-FM to their friends, sometimes in person, sometimes in email and these days through social networking sites like Facebook. In the same way, we need you to join with us to spread the word about the urgent year-end need we are now facing.
