Beautiful Ending

By BarlowGirl

Oh, why do I let myself let go of Hands that painted the stars and hold tears that fall?/ And the pride of my heart makes me forget it's not me but You who makes the heart beat/ I'm lost without You and dying from me

Imagine this: You’re in the middle of a hard situation, and you don’t know what to do next or where to go.But you have an expert who has gone through this situation before standing beside you.Do you ask them for help or just keep trying to do it yourself?

Most of you would probably say that it would be silly to just keep trying to do it by myself, you should ask that expert for help. But so often that’s exactly what we do in life.We make decisions, and choose paths that we probably shouldn’t have, and then we find ourselves in a situation we have no idea how to get out of or navigate through. The whole time we have God standing right beside us, the One who created everything and knows how everything works best, the One who understands exactly where we’re at and knows where He wants us to go, patiently waiting for us to ask Him for help.

Psalm 40:12-13

For troubles surround me—
too many to count!
My sins pile up so high
I can’t see my way out.
They outnumber the hairs on my head.
I have lost all courage. Please, Lord, rescue me!
Come quickly, Lord, and help me.

But we don’t.We keep trying our own way, trying to create our own path. But if we would just stop, let go of our pride and turn toward God and ask Him to help us, He will.He will show you the path that was already there that He wants to walk you down.It may not be easier, and it may be more painful, but it will be best. And it will take you exactly where you need to be.And it will bring you closer to being the person that God wants you to be.And maybe next time you won’t wait so long to ask God for help.

Psalm 37:5

Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you.
