My son took his life last year, and this has been the most traumatic thing that I've ever had to go through losing a child. I listen to 88.1 every morning going to work. The song " Redeemed" was like GOD and my son talking to me. The songs I hear help deal with the start of my day and the end of the day. Thank you
This station has saved my life! I was a self-harmer for the longest time. I was bullied and picked on. Just when I was about to end it all, I turned on the radio. And there you were. You guys are truly a gift from God. That day I was filled with joy and I did something I hadn't done in the longest time. I fell to my knees and prayed and begged for forgiveness. I was forgiven that day. It reminds me that I'm not alone, that I have GOD.
I have listened to WAY-FM for years and I love the songs that are played. They are very encouraging and I can just sing out and praise God. Awesome songs like Even If, Hurt & the Healer, 10,000 Reasons and so many more. Those songs were what touched me the most when my brother took his life on August 30 2012. My heart still aches from missing him. I really loved those songs but with his passing I felt like they were directly for me and what God wanted me to hear at that time. Thanks so much for the songs that you play.
About a month ago I had to have surgery on my knee. Recovery was going great but then I started to have complications and had to be rushed to the ER 3 times. I had to have another surgery and be in the hospital for a week. I began to become discouraged. The doctors told me that they hadn't seen something like this happen in 15 years. But through all the ER trips and troubles I constanly listened to WAY-FM and it brought peace to me. In particular the song "He said" by Group1Crew.
