It's a benefit and celebration of family, friends, and community! We will have 6 different bounce houses, luminaries, train rides, face painting, music, pie eating contest, food, and a cake auction. At 6:45 pm we will end the festivities with a glow-in-the-dark walk around Lake Francis.

Understanding Your Teen Seminar - Date 11-07-2009 6:00:00 pm
Duffy Robbins, nationally known youth communicator, will be conducting an Understanding Your Teenager seminar at Chiles High School. Parents who attend Understanding Your Teenager will learn important principles for building good relationships with their kids during the teen years. The seminar will provide plenty of practical ideas and suggestions to help every parent navigate the rough waters of adolescence. Parents will also learn how to avoid common parenting mistakes and to do those "little things" that reap big results in the lives of teenagers. Tickets are $10/single or $15/couple and available at many local churches and at Lifeway Christian Stores.

The Anderson Chapel Youth will pay tribute to all veterans for their service to our nation. Guest speaker will be Lt. Colonel Jeffrey N. Williams, Professor of Military Science and ROTC Battalion Commander at Florida A&M University. The public is cordially invited to attend.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is proud to present Fields of Faith at North Florida Christian School's Football Field! Fields of Faith allows students to hear the gospel presented by fellow students. It is a national event that challenges students to disciple each other through their testimonies, and encourage their peers to read the Bible, share the impact in their lives, and commit to Christ. An athletic field provides a neutral, interdenominational rally point where a community can come together. All middle/high school student, families, youth pastors, community members welcome! Dare to Love: Project Haiti is a humanitarian organization at FSU that seeks to end poverty in Haiti by teaching them sustainable solutions to their problems. We are trying to send our members to Petite Paradise this summer and we need to raise money. We've got great bands and great merchandise for sale, all for a great cause!! Future Now is a high-energy school assembly program that utilizes a full scale production of heart-pounding live music, dramatic skits, and personal testimonies to inspire youth. FutureNow confronts young people with the reality that the choices we make today will determine our futures. FutureNow will be performing live at Lafayette County Middle/High School Gym. These are free events - bring the whole family and arrive early to get a seat!
Thanksgiving Baskets - Date 11-12-2009
It's that time of year - time to give thanks by giving to our less fortunate neighbors. Donors can purchase individual items (Turkey, Stuffing Mix, Cranberry Sauce, Macaroni and Cheese) and ECHO will sort into baskets, or feel free to create a basket! Frozen turkey (approx. 12 lbs) or grocery store gift card, or check made out to ECHO will be accepted as well! $10 buys a turkey, $25 feeds a family. Please deliver items as early as possible by Nov. 12th.
